In-School Mentorship
Urban Male Network partners with schools across Chicago’s West and South Sides to provide mentorship during school hours. This program addresses students’ academic, social, and emotional needs. Mentors work closely with students, offering guidance on goal setting, conflict resolution, and leadership development. The program fosters a supportive environment that helps students navigate challenges and stay on track academically. Schools currently served will be listed to reflect the broad reach of this impactful initiative.

One-on-One Mentorship
This program pairs youth with a dedicated mentor for individualized guidance and support. Mentors act as positive role models, offering personalized advice on personal, academic, and career goals. This tailored approach helps mentees build confidence, enhance their decision-making skills, and cultivate a strong sense of self. The program emphasizes long-term relationships, ensuring consistent support and accountability for each participant.

Saturday Programming
Focused on holistic development, the Saturday Programming offers youth a range of workshops and activities, including leadership and financial literacy, creative arts, and team-building exercises. These sessions provide a safe and engaging space where participants can explore new interests, build social skills, and gain valuable life experiences. By dedicating time on weekends, the program ensures that youth have access to continuous learning and development opportunities.

Summer Exploration
The Summer Exploration program emphasizes experiential learning through weekly field trips to diverse cultural, educational, and recreational destinations. These trips are designed to broaden participants’ perspectives, expose them to new environments, and encourage them to think beyond their immediate surroundings. By engaging in these enriching experiences, youth develop a deeper appreciation for the world around them, enhancing their social and cognitive skills during the summer months

Enrichment Zone
Based in south suburban areas such as Calumet City, Lansing, Harvey, and Dolton, the Enrichment Zone is an after-school program offering a diverse range of activities, including music production, gaming, basketball, and mentoring. This program provides a structured and dynamic environment for students to unwind after school while continuing to develop essential skills. The combination of creative, recreational, and mentorship elements ensures that participants are engaged, supported, and empowered to pursue their interests and goals.
