Marlon Haywood
Dr. Marlon Haywood is a Chicago-born educator and community leader dedicated to empowering young minority men through mentorship, education, and health equity, founding the Urban Male Network and leading initiatives that impact over 300 youth monthly across the city.

Rickey Layfield
Rickey Layfield is a Chicago native and experienced youth advocate with a background in event planning, student development, and branding, currently serving as Chief Operations Officer of Urban Male Network and holding leadership roles with several youth-focused organizations across the city.

Sumera Galvez is the Chief Financial Officer of Urban Male Network, bringing over a decade of experience in global sales operations, marketing, and financial analysis, with a passion for entrepreneurship, mentorship, and empowering communities through strategic leadership and advocacy.

Alison Manalp, a social work graduate with a background in youth advocacy and business management, now brings her passion for staff empowerment and operational growth to support the mission of Urban Male Network.

Corey Turner is a South Side Chicago native and youth advocate with a background in sociology and Black studies, who leverages his leadership in organizations like Urban Male Network and Alpha Phi Alpha to challenge stereotypes and empower the next generation.

Joavon McKinnor, Director of Mentorship at Urban Male Network, is a Columbia College Chicago theatre graduate and dedicated mentor who combines relationship-building, social-emotional learning, and the arts to empower youth and help them navigate life’s challenges.

Tayveun, a West Side Chicago native and Northern Illinois University graduate in sport management and eSports marketing, is a passionate mentor and leader committed to uplifting young Black men through service, advocacy, and impactful roles in student and community organizations.

Fuad Raji, M.S.Ed., a first-generation Nigerian American and seasoned higher education practitioner, is dedicated to empowering students through academic advising, leadership development, and culturally responsive programming rooted in over a decade of service across Chicagoland institutions.

John is a dedicated youth advocate with 15 years of experience in coaching and counseling, the founder of a successful multi-sport program, and a committed community leader through his roles in the United Automobile Workers union and JOB 33 Masonic Lodge.
